Cheese Balls in an Instant

Cheese Balls in an Instant An easy and delicious way to use up the cheese you have left in the fridge!


Step 1

Beat the eggs in a bowl. Add the yoghurt and mix well. Add the oil, the cheese and the bacon, salt and pepper and mix. Add the flour and baking powder gradually, mixing with a spoon. Place the mixture in the fridge for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Place a sheet of baking paper on a wide baking pan. Mould the cheese mixture into oval balls, 2cm apart. Sprinkle with Kouroushis Kefalotyri. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes.


2 eggs
300 grams Kouroushis strained yoghurt
¾ cup oil
2½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
400 grams grated cheese (feta plus Kouroushis dry Anari, Kouroushis Kefalotyri, Kouroushis Halloumi)
5 slices diced bacon (optional)
Salt and pepper in moderation
Grated Kouroushis Kefalotyri to sprinkle on top
