Beef Burgers with Grilled Halloumi

Serves: 4 | Cooking Time: 30 min

Halloumi Cheese & Oregano Skewers Beef burgers infused with basil, garlic and shallots. They are topped with grilled halloumi cheese. These burgers are perfect for weekend barbecues or dinner with friends.


Step 1

Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the shallot and garlic. Mix the meat with the egg, bread crumbs, basil, shallot and garlic. Shape into 4 burgers and grill on a pre-heated grill or in a skillet until deeply golden. Grill the halloumi and toast the buns.

Step 2

Spread the sauce on the bottom bun, top with the burger, halloumi, then the salad, cucumber ribbons and finally the top bun. Enjoy!!


400 g minced beef
1 shallot, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 egg
1 tablespoon bread crumbs
2 tablespoons chopped basil
salt and black pepper
4 buns
4 thin slices of Kouroushis halloumi cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
